About the Role

To lead on the management of specialist inspections including, Detailed VRS, Drainage and Geotechnical Inspections on the trunk road network in accordance with the Welsh Government Trunk Road Maintenance Manual (WG-TRMM) and Welsh Government Integrated Roads Information System (IRIS) requirements.

HNC/Degree in an engineering subject and relevant industry experience or significant relevant experience in the highways sector.

Experience in infrastructure inspection and or maintenance.

Ability to work under own initiative and as a part of a team.

Well-developed communication skills, both oral and writing.

Good organisational skills.

Creativity and problem solving skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.

Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation

Current Driving Licence

IT skills use of Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word and Excel
