Apprenticeships

Ready to Kick Start Your Career?

Welcome! You’ve just taken the first step into the world of NMWTRA apprenticeships. If you’re curious about how the road network in North and Mid Wales is built, fixed, designed, or made better, you’re in the right place.

We are the team responsible for keeping the road network moving 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. That’s not all, we also have a big team working behind-the-scenes to provide support to our frontline teams.

Whether you are looking for an Apprenticeship or Graduate Scheme we have several departments offering exciting opportunities to work across a wide range of disciplines including Civil Engineering, Inspections, Structures, Environment & Climate Change, Third Party Claims, Procurement, plus many, many more.Β

So, if you’re interested in how NMWTRA works, here’s what you need to know.

As a NMWTRA apprentice, you will gain valuable experience working within all our units and teams, so you gain a solid understanding of how the organisation works.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of modern technologies, supported by skilled professionals, and real opportunities to grow your career. You will also gain extra qualifications and training alongside your apprenticeship.
