Location: 1 Job – Bangor, Conwy, Dolgellau or Halkyn area

                     1 Job – Llandrindod, Dolgellau, Newtown and Aberystwyth area

Job Description

  • Receive workplace experiences in highway and structures works, Project management and maintenance.
  • Complete an apprenticeship and gain apprenticeships in civil engineering.

Responsibility for functions e.g. staff, budgets, equipment

Qualifications and Relevant Training

Essential

Either

    • 4 GCSEs grade D or above (Grade C or above in maths)
    • or
    • Level 2 vocational qualification (e.g. BTEC First Level 2 Diploma)
    • For your information, any combination of qualifications with an equivalent grade will be acceptable

Skills and Specialist Knowledge

Essential

  • UK driving licence
  • DBS

Desirable

  • Familiar with relevant local and / or central government procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Assurance systems.
  • Information about Local Authority personnel procedures.

Language requirements
Desirable

Welsh is desirable, English is essential.
